Ginkgo biloba has been used for its effects by the Chinese for many many many years. Ginkgo contains more than 40 active substances, two of which improve memory; flavanoids and terpenoids. It is well known that memory loss and poor concentration is due to poor circulation to the brain. These active substances help to improve blood circulation to the brain.
